Englewood Appliance Works grew out of a simple frustration: too many homeowners with a five-figure built-in refrigerator were being handed a generic diagnosis by a technician who had never opened one before. High-end appliances are engineered differently, and they need to be serviced by people who understand that difference. That is the whole reason this brand exists.

What We Focus On

Our bench is built around Sub-Zero and Wolf, and we extend the same care to the wider luxury roster: Cove, Thermador, Viking, Miele, Gaggenau, Bosch, Dacor, Jenn-Air, KitchenAid, Scotsman, True Residential, Monogram, La Cornue and Liebherr. These are the appliances most general repair shops are reluctant to touch, and they are exactly the ones we work on every day.

We do not chase volume by taking on every washer and dryer in town. Staying narrow keeps our technicians fluent in the systems that matter for a premium kitchen: dual sealed refrigeration, magnetic gasket sealing, spark-ignition burner assemblies, convection calibration and clear-ice production.

Training and Credentials

Every technician on the team is brand-focused on the lines we service and confirm applicable qualification requirements before sealed-system work, which is the federal requirement for handling the sealed refrigerant systems inside built-in refrigerators and wine storage. Appointment requirements are confirmed before scheduling.

How We Work

The process is deliberately plain. You book online or call, a technician diagnoses the appliance on site, and you get a written estimate before any parts are ordered or any work begins. Diagnostic and travel fees, if applicable, are confirmed before the appointment and before repair approval. We install genuine OEM parts, test the appliance, and leave you with warranty paperwork in hand. Completed repairs include a 365-day repair warranty. Written terms are provided with the repair.

We are based in Englewood and cover the towns around it, from the Palisades cliffs above the Hudson out to the Ramapo hills, across the river into Westchester and Rockland, and onto Long Island's North Shore.
